Booking Terms and Conditions
These terms constitute the entire agreement and
understanding between Tourist and Kilimanjaro Travel
Adventure Safaris Co.Ltd
Your booking once accepted and confirmed in
writing to you represents a contract between all persons named on the booking form
and Kilimanjaro Travel Adventure Safaris Co.Ltd
2. Price and Payment
Prices are valid as discussed during
correspondence since your first inquiry. When payment is made you will receive
confirmation of your reservation. If applicable you will also receive confirmation
of any final balance owing. The outstanding amount must be paid by the due date
specified. Should we not receive payment by that date we reserve the right to
treat your booking as cancelled and you may have to pay cancellation charges.
Details of cancellation charges that apply are outlined below.
You may not seek to rely on system errors with a
view to obtaining a booking at less than the correct price. Any contract
entered into upon a mistake, such as wrong costing due to a system error will
not be valid or binding.
I pay for my package?
There are two forms of
- By wire transfer: You can
deposit the amount into our US $ account in Tanzania and pay the rest one Month
before arrival or Pay on arrival by Cash
- By payment in Credit Card:
You can pay through Master Card, VISA, Amex, e.tc through our online Merchant which is available
worldwide. Pay your safari booking deposit or Kilimanjaro trekking adventure
simply by Credit Card on secure merchant.
Amendments we can make.
After you have booked the tour, still you can
make slight changes which does not affect lodges and within time frame of one
You or any member of your party may cancel your
booking or part of it once it has been confirmed but the cancellation will,
unless otherwise agreed, only be valid if made in writing to Kilimanjaro
Travel Adventure Safaris Co.Ltd.
The following cancellation fees
shall be applicable and shall be calculated by reference to the total booking
cost (“TBC”) of the services booked for by the client.
Kilimanjaro Travel Adventure Safaris Co.Ltd is entitled
to act as agent or principal with regard to the provision of the services. 56
days or more notice 75 percent of the TBC shall be refunded.
55 - 49 days notice is
given 50 percent of the TBC shall be refunded
48 - 35 days notice is
given 25 percent of the TBC shall be refunded
34 - 14 days or less notice
given No refund of the TBC shall be made
7.2 No refunds shall
however be made to clients who make bookings less than 35 days prior to
embarkation (for this purpose, embarkation shall mean the date on which a
client is booked to commence travel or to commence an excursion for which the
services are booked whichever is the greater), nor shall refunds be given to
clients who arrive early, late or who do not show for a booking. In the event
of a client terminating a booking for whatever reason, no refund shall be made
unless with the prior written approval of a director of Kilimanjaro
Travel Adventure Safaris Co.Ltd
are therefore strongly recommended to obtain their own comprehensive travel
insurance to cover such contingencies.
